Sterling Noon Rotary Pork BBQ - June 2, 2015

President Andy Thornton presents "Head Hog" Kevin Heller with the "Thanks for Bringing Home the Bacon" award for a very successful BBQ fundraiser!
Willy Hewitt works on the bagging and serving committee, preparing the sandwiches!
Jerry Binder, Scott Porter, and Sarah - Our Exchange Student from Sweden serves the meals at the drive up.

The BBQ was held at the Sterling High School Commons, with Kevin Heller heading up the activities as Head Hog. It was a beautiful day, and many Rotarians from the club turned out to help.  Over 400 advanced orders were placed and delivered by the delivery team, headed up by Larry Cooper.  Almost 1,000 pork chops were sold, which was a sell out!  Proceeds benefit the local and international projects supported by the Sterling Noon Rotary Club, including the boots and shoes program in the schools, literacy, polio eradication, and more.  The club wishes to thank everyone who supported the BBQ fundraiser either by service or purchasing tickets as individuals or as a company.
