Yuzuki  told us she turns 16 in ten days and that in Japan turning 16 is not a big deal as it is in the US.  she had a party of about 20 friends which she enjoyed very much.  This is finals week at SHS and she still has some studying to do.
Ed Andersen introduced Kris Noble, Executive Director of the Sauk Valley Area chamber of Commerce.
Kris was proud to announce that the Chamber had received the "Outstanding Chamber of the Year" award from the National Chamber of Commerce.   Additionally through the works of Kris and her Board they also were Five Star Accredited this year.
Both of those achievements are a testament to the commitment of Kris and her Board of Directors.   She shared their many accomplishments which illustrates the Sauk Valley Area has much to be proud of.  Thank you for your terrific work Kris!
