Program -
Brigadier General Walter Lindsley of the US Air Force spoke to us today.  He took us through his military beginning with his entering the Air Force immediately after graduating from Rock Falls High School.  His distinguished career took him to many countries  and missions throughout the world and now to a few weeks from retirement.   His message included sharing his time at the Pentagon on September 11, 2001.  This is a day that we will never forget yet could not imagine what it would have been like for those directly under attack.    His story was powerful, emotional and riveting.   September 11 caused many of us to reevaluate our lives including the General.   He left us with this message "Cherish each day and live each day being the best version of yourself."  Thank you Brigadier general Walter Lindsley
