President Dave Hellmich called the meeting to order at 12:10 p.m. and asked Rotarian Steve Munson to have the opening prayer in which he offered a prayer for those who died and are still living in their military service to the country. Then he led the Pledge, Four-Way Test, and singing of "America the Beautiful." Hellmich introduced a club guests, and various members introduced six guest students who were present (listed below in the attendance). The 50/50 drawing produced no winners. Hellmich then turned the podium over to John Gvozdjak who introduced the guest speaker, Corey Gabler. (covered in the lead article above).

Club guests were: Visiting Rotarian, Leo Patterson; John Berge's wife, Patti; their guests Charlotte and Joe Hodder (veterans); Beth McFalls with her veteran grandfather, Don Haag; and Robert Ulanski, guest of John Gvozdjak; and six high school students: Riley Austin (Sterling) Jenica Francis (Sterling), Blake Nettleton (Sterling), Cecilia Sage (Newman), Marisel Schlack (Newman). and Emma Wilson (Sterling).

Rotary Foundation Dinner
Many Rotarians, spouses, guests, gathered at the Brandwine Banquet and Event Center in Dixon for a buffet dinner and several speeches and presentations, Thursday night, November 11th, 5:30-7:30. The event was hosted by our District Rotary Foundation chair, Kathy Kwiat-Hess.
