Meeting Notes
 
 President Dave Hellmich called the meeting to order at 12:10 p.m. and asked Rotarian Steve Munson to have the opening prayer in which he offered a prayer for those who died and are still living in their military service to the country.  Then he led the Pledge, Four-Way Test, and singing of "America the Beautiful."  Hellmich introduced a club guests, and various members introduced six guest students who were present (listed below in the attendance).   The 50/50 drawing produced no winners.  Hellmich then turned the podium over to John Gvozdjak who introduced the guest speaker, Corey Gabler.  (covered in the lead article above).
 
Those attending were: Ed Andersen (on Zoom), John Berens, John Berge,  Christina Berry, Chip Donahue, John Gvozdjak, Kevin Heller, David Hellmich, Reed Hutchcraft, Lee Kraut, Nick Lareau, David Lowe, Lori Lowe, Barb Majeski, Dana McCoy, Bill McLemore, Mark Mench, Christine Mitchell, Steve Munson, Tim Schwingle,  Bill Shaw, Russ Siefken, Brad Zacharski, and Christy Zepezauer.  Club guests were:  Visiting Rotarian, Leo Patterson; John Berge's wife, Patti; their guests Charlotte and Joe Hodder (veterans); Beth McFalls with her veteran grandfather, Don Haag; and Robert Ulanski, guest of John Gvozdjak; and six high school students: Riley Austin (Sterling) Jenica Francis (Sterling), Blake Nettleton (Sterling), Cecilia Sage (Newman), Marisel Schlack (Newman). and Emma Wilson (Sterling).
 
No one won the 50/50 drawing netted $67.00.

Rotary Foundation Dinner
 
    Many Rotarians, spouses, guests, gathered at the Brandwine Banquet and Event Center in Dixon for a buffet dinner and several speeches and presentations, Thursday night, November 11th, 5:30-7:30.  The event was hosted by our District Rotary Foundation chair, Kathy Kwiat-Hess.
    Sterling Rotarians attending were David Hellmich and his wife Linda; Lee Kraut and his wife, Laura Welty, Lori Lowe and Bill McLemore (table photo below).
